Welcome

Thank you all for coming to visit my new blog.

I have moved some posts over from various other places to get the blog a lived in a feel. Posts that set the tone for the way this blog will be. You may have already read some of them, or you may not have. But you can always re read the ones that you liked. And really why wouldnt you want to?

From here on out they will all be brand new posts.

So stop by daily and you can be my new best friend.

Are you looking thinner? Your hair is fabulous today.

How is that?

So go on and scroll down and read about how much I love books, especially free books.

You know, Chris, as I contemplate a fourth child, I’ve often thought of emailing you a question or to, like, Are you super woman? Do you sleep? But I didn’t want to annoy you and I couldn’t figure out what to ask exactly. So…. I am thrilled that you’re launching this blog. Can’t wait to find out how you do it!

I found you yesterday for the first time. Amid the poop and the sweat I found myself falling on the floor in laughter and thought, “Now, THAT is my type of person!” Yes, I will gladly take up your offer and be your new best friend! And thanks for the compliments, it feels good to wake up with my hair flung to one side and twisted on top and someone actually have something good to say!

Love your new ‘clothes’!!! I’m also a homeschooling mom to seven also and I’ve laughed to tears at the days of baseball (we are afflicted, I mean blessed, with soccer, football, ballet and Karate)–sympathized with people stepping on baby gates, appreciated how much a new pair of gardening shoes would improve my ability to kill plants….on and on.

Thank you for making me feel like I’m not the only one ‘with my hands full’.–Christine

  17. Nina Says:

I love the heading on your site - the graphics have great colors! Wow - kids really connect people. On my blog just today I spoke of an experience with my preteen daughter - they keep moms on their toes. I hope to read more of your posts soon!

  22. Juleeta Says:

    So, do you take questions?

    I have one, if so.

Do you often go out to dinner as a whole family? I mean, waiting for a table for nine must be a pain…although you could make reservations for people who will take reservations for “large parties.” And, do they automatically charge gratuity, since you’re a party of six or more?

  23. Heather Says:

Congrats! I will follow and read you anywhere! Well, on the internet that is. LOL!

I am thinking of homeschooling my now 8 year old next year so I am REALLY looking forward to your writings on the whole homeschooling arena. :)
